I am so excited to announce that Heart of a Bowman has just released on Audible. My narrator was heaven-sent and I want to share God’s great blessings.

My publisher, Mountain Brook Ink, tendered the contract for Heart of a Bowman and received numerous auditions. I listened to a handful of auditions, and all were good, but one stood apart as absolutely outstanding. The narrator’s name was Christopher Brown, and I only needed to hear him read the first paragraph of the audition script before I knew I wanted him to record the audio book.

My publisher contacted Christopher to award him the contract, and here’s where the miracle happens. Christopher sends us a beautiful reply. We learn he is actually a successful narrator within the mainstream market, and he’s also a Christian. He has two little girls, and he wanted to narrate a project they could actually listen to one day. As you probably know, mainstream books, even YA novels, are often very dark and contain a shocking amount of “spice.” He said he would consider Heart of a Bowman a tithe of his talent and time unto the Lord because he loved the fact it is clean, and written from a Christian worldview, echoing the gospel.

When I read his email, I cried like a baby for at least twenty minutes. Then I prayed and thanked the Lord for His kindness to me. Christopher has been a dream to work with. He brings the characters to life and makes the listener feel as though they’re a part of every scene. He finished the narration amidst other mainstream (lucrative) projects and did a fantastic job.

I hope you listen to the Heart of a Bowman audio book, and that it brings your family as much joy as it has mine. Heart of a Spy releases this December, and I can’t wait for Christopher to bring Colt, Tess, Deacon and Shifty to life for the next chapter in their journey.

P.S. If you would like to receive an advanced copy of Heart of a Spy, please join my launch team. I need people who would love to promote Heart of a Spy on social media and there are multiple chances to win great prizes during the launch.
